Antique Dinner Plate
Made by Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co. (1862-1904), in Cauldon, England.
The backstamp bears the mark "POTTERS TO HER MAGESTY", indicating that the company held a Royal Warrant, signifying they supplied goods to the British royal household.
The coat of arms shown in the stamp is the Royal Arms of the United Kingdon, and the motto"DIEU ET MON DROIT" translates to "God and my right".
This 9 5/8" diameter plate is decorated with a gorgeous flow blue pattern, and shiny gold scalloped rim.
Excellent condition.
No chips or cracks.
Extremely rare and beautiful item!
