The Topography on Paper represents a searching process through paper, much like finding one’s way on a map that still needs to be drawn, drawn with intention.

Also, the intention is not to be alone in this – to be an artist, to want to become one, to express personal thoughts, observations of transitional phases within ourselves and in our society.

The intention is to touch you with art, involve others in their process – to be a part of this collaboration. For example by attending one of the paper workshops or atelier sessions, visiting the exhibition in this Pop-Up Gallery, buying an artwork, or simply showing up. Be there. Tell your friends.

Be a part – that’s something very important to us. Something the world needs right now. We need to feel, work, and walk together on our topographical maps of making the world a better place, also through art.

Constanze Stinnes is embracing chaos as a new way of experimenting with printing alongside her work as an architect. Lucila Biscione tells wonderful fairy tales with delicate paper cuts, and embraces change & transformations in all possible ways.

The former bridal store owner Agnes Szucs sews her beats now onto the paper with a conceptual-minimalist approach. Guy Lougashi is exploring the Self Topography on paper with his PINK-Love, challenging the possibilities of paper. Mel Hack has a sensitive understanding of healing with art, relating to you and inviting you to also express emotions through her Paper-Cut-Project.  Creating art helped to overcome harmful experiences in life – sharing her three-dimensional paper objects, she wants to help you too. Crafting art became Jana Ressels transformative journey, aiding her in overcoming challenging life experiences. Through the sharing of her three-dimensional paper objects, she aspires to extend that helping hand to you as well. In search of the wonderful November sun, Sofia Valderrama captures her warmth with her shining wooden-paper-pieces, always exploring new surfaces. You can feel the theatrical background of Emanuele Crotti when he explores himself as a space, looking for his topography through art and ways to touch you.

The artworks, the energy of the space and the curation invite you to engage mindfully with the paper – physically and emotionally – by entering this interactive and immersive exhibition.
